World in Progress: China's sponge cities

Extreme weather events such as heatwaves and flash floods are becoming ever more intense — hundreds of people have died in recent floods in South Asia. The coastal city of Zhuhai in China's south, which was battling floods just in May, is one of 30 model 'sponge cities' in China looking for solutions. DW talks to Nian She, director of Zhuhai's Tsinghua Innovation Center.
