Pasang Dolma Sherpa from Nepal has been voted to head the indigenous group at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). During the 2015 Paris Agreement the parties agreed to launch this platform that will help include the experiences of local communities and indigenous peoples with climate change and how to respond to it.
