Turkish Rightists and Officers on Trial for Planning Coup

A trial begins on Monday in Istanbul, Turkey. 86 defendants are accused of seeking to overthrow the government of the ruling Islamic rooted AK party. Since 1960, three governments have been ousted by the army.
