Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has recalled the country's ambassador to Washington following a U.S. congressional vote to label as "genocide" the 19-15 massacre of Armenians by Ottoman Turkish forces. The House Foreign Affairs Committee voted 23 to 22 to approve the non-binding resolution, clearing it for consideration by the full House. Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian has called the vote a boost for human rights.
