Tragedy in Germany as at least 19 people are killed in a stampede at dance music festival

Police in Germany now say at least 19 people died in a stampede at a music festival in the western city of Duisburg. 340 people were also injured, some of them seriously. Panic broke out late on Saturday afternoon as revellers headed to the Love Parade, one of Europe's largest techno music festivals.1.4 Mmillion people had travelled to the city for the festival. Questions are now being raised over the crowd safety plan -- with local officials promising a full investigation.
