Here in Germany, the A40 highway is usually one of the country's busiest roads. But today, a 60-kilometer stretch through the Ruhr region in the west of the country has been transformed into a car-free zone, called "motorway still life". It's all part of celebrations marking the area's designation as one of this year's European Capitals of Culture.
