Neo-Nazi arrest

A man suspected of assisting members of a neo-Nazi terror group in six murders has been arrested by Germany's special anti-terror unit, GSG 9, in Düsseldorf on Wednesday.
The extremist group, known as the National Socialist Underground, is believed to be responsible for 10 murders that targeted mostly foreigners between 2000 and 2007. The group is also believed to have robbed several banks and carried out bomb explosions in Cologne.
Thirty-one-year-old Carsten S. is suspected, along with one other person, of providing a gun and ammunition to the group. It is unclear if the weapon was actually used in any of the murders.
S.'s background, according to federal prosecutors, indicates he had direct connection with the three principal suspects in the murders, Uwe Böhnhardt, Uwe Mundlos and Beate Zschäpe.
A police raid in November found that Böhnhardt and Mundlos killed themselves just before they were going to be arrested. Zschäpe turned herself in shortly after and is currently in custody.
