Sinti-Roma memorial opened in 2012

In 2012 German chancellor Angela Merkel opened the memorial to Sinti and Roma victims of Nazi persecution. 500,000 Roma and Sinti perished in the Holocaust. And the groups say they are still persecuted in Europe today.
