Costa Rica is the world's biggest pineapple exporter. It supplies more than half of global demand every year. Massive companies that only produce pineapples have made big money. Small Costa Rican farmers too have found a niche for their promise of good working conditions and organic farming practices. But these farmers who work under the Fair Trade label don't have it easy.
