One year of crisis: A backflash on the financial desasters of the last year

That economic crisis began a year ago, after US investment bank Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy after posting a quarterly loss of 3.9 billion dollars. The Lehman banruptcy unleashed a chain reaction on financial markets around the world, with credit markets seizing up and banks around the world going under or being nationalized. And a lot of companies that had put money into Lehman Brothers have a lost a lot of money.
