A number of surprising initiatives across the globe are making the world a safer place for kids. We’ll hear more about those ideas, from an eco-bank helping kids learn about money and the environment, to an AI pilot project in Japan that’s identifying child abuse faster, to the Indian police stations devoted to uprooting child labor.

We’ll also hear from a former member of the children’s advisory team with the Geneva-based NGO Child Rights Connect about what her first foray in international decision-making was like.

Plus, in a chat with Philip Jaffé of the UN’s Committee on the Rights of the Child, we get the low down on child participation in decision-making, what’s behind the trend, and how it’s going so far.
