A major international conference concluded in London on Thursday where NATO countries announced a new security strategy for Afghanistan. As part of that plan Germany has pledged to send more troops to boost its force in northern Afghanistan. Berlin's millitary mission there was unpopular among the general public before the latest strategy was agreed. The results of a new survey conducted after the announcement shows that has not changed.
