German prosecutors have charged the alleged Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk with aiding the murder of 27,900 people. He is 89 years old and had argued that he is too frail to stand trial. The indictment follows years of legal arguments over Demjanjuk's actions during the war. Most recently, he had lived in the US, from which he was deported in May.
