Former Defense Minister Franz Josef Jung denies cover-up over Afghanistan airstrike

In Berlin, a parliamentary committee investigating an airstrike in Afghanistan is hearing testimony from the former Defense Minister Franz Josef Jung. Last September, dozens of people were killed in the German-ordered strike in the province of Kunduz. It's alleged that Jung deliberately withheld information on civilian casualties. He later resigned from the cabinet over the affair.
