EU leaders pledge more than 7 billion euros for an emergency climate change und for developing countries

EU leaders have agreed to give at least 2.4 billion euros for the next three years to a global fund aimed at helping poor nations deal with climate change. The payments will start in 2010. The leaders met for a second day of talks after spending the night trying to hammer out a deal on climate aid.
