The closure of airspace over Europe is causing havoc for companies. Some analysts say the disruption could cause losses of up to 3 billion dollars for passenger airlines and cargo carriers. The volcanic ash cloud is disrupting exports and has brought air freight services to a halt. European airlines say they'll be seeking compensation from their governments.
