We are hearing some interesting comments from CEO's at the Detroit Auto Show. Signs of how the future of the entire industry will look. On Tuesday, Ford's CEO said that soon 80 percent of his company's production will be based on common platforms--meaning the US market and rest of the world are becoming more and more the same...smaller, fuel efficient cars everywhere.
