Deadly clashes in Thailand between security forces and anti-government protestors

To Thailand now, where Prime Minister Api-SEET Weetcha-cheewa has vowed he will NOT step down, after clashes between anti-government activists and troops in Bangkok on Saturday left at least 20 people dead. The red-shirted activists, who say they're planning more demonstrations, are demanding the prime minister call new elections and leave the country, saying he came to power illegitimately. They support former prime minister Thaksin Shinawat, who was ousted in a military coup in 2006.
