Coronavirus vaccines: Can we stay ahead of the variants?

South Africa has stopped its mass vaccination program with the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine. A new study shows that the vaccine offers only minimal protection against the country's new variant. Brent Goff spoke to Lawrence Young, a virologist and professor of Molecular Oncology at Warwick Medical School in the United Kingdom. He says South Africa’s decision was premature.
