Cool Discovery - Dinosaurs may have been warm-blooded

For years, scientists believed that dinosaurs were cold-blooded reptiles whose body temperature was determined by the temperature of their surroundings. But now scientists from Bonn and Los Angeles have made a new discovery.

They have analyzed fossilized dinosaur tooth enamel to calculate their body temperature. Their findings suggest that dinosaurs were actually nimble warm-blooded creatures, rather than lumbering reptiles. Their massive bodies were excellent at heat storage, which also made dinosaurs very energy efficient.
