Fresh fighting between the Army and rebel forces in the Democraitic Republic of Congo has forced thousands of civilians to flee from refugee camps in the country's North Kivu province. News of more violence comes as African leaders have gathered for a peace summit in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, calling for an immediate ceasefire. Here the leaders of Congo and Rwanda, who've been accusing each other of supporting rival rebel groups, briefly meet face to face. Fighting between Tutsi Rebels and the Congolese army has already displaced hundreds of thousands of people. Aid agencies say the situation is fast deteriorating into a humanitarian disaster.
