Carly Fiorina - The manager
October 13, 2015Carly Fiorina believes that due to her experience heading a major multinational corporation she is the best-qualified candidate to become president because she understands how the global economy works. But her tenure at HP is also her big weakness. While she was CEO, the corporation's stock price crashed and thousands lost their jobs. US media described her as one of the worst CEOs and called her the "anti-Steve Jobs"
Fiorina has never held elected office but has been politically active. Back in 2008 she supported John McCain's presidential campaign. Two years later she ran for a seat in the US Senate, but lost against Democratic incumbent Barbara Boxer. Fiorina is the only female candidate in the Republican primary.
