Calls grow for tougher stance on femicide in Germany

Every day in Germany, a man tries to kill his partner or ex-partner. Domestic violence is on the rise, and activists say the criminal justice system is failing the victims. DW met with one woman who survived extreme violence at the hands of her partner.
