Bundesliga Round 10 in Pictures
In the week of the top German match between Bayern and Dortmund, the Bundesliga saw the teams from the North go back on top. Check out the best of Matchday 10 in pictures.
Bayern come back to win "Der Klassiker"
Not that long ago, Arjen Robben was missing penalty kicks that helped Dortmund win titles. On Saturday, the Dutchman was the difference in a scintillating match, which Bayern won 2-1. Robben's scored from the penalty spot in the closing minutes to bag the three points for the hosts.
Hamburg battle past Leverkusen
Hamburg versus Leverkusen wasn't one for the purists. The match set a new mark for the most fouls in the Bundesliga this season - after only 65 minutes! The rough play helped Hamburg more than their opponents. They ran out 1-0 winners from a Van der Vaart spot-kick.
Bremen seal first win
It was a long time coming - more than two-and-half months, to be precise. But Werder Bremen finally picked up their first three points of the season, beating Mainz 2-1. It was a team effort and a cause for hope that Bremen can come back under new coach Viktor Skripnik.
Wolves put the bite on Stuttgart
For the second straight week, Stuttgart conceded four goals. Only this time they didn't score four of their own. In fact, opponents Wolfsburg kept a clean sheet to record an easy 4-0 win and move into second. Ivan Perisic scored twice and both Robin Knoche and Kevin de Bruyne added to the scoreline.
Own goal gifts Hannover a win
Hannover were the better side in their home match against Frankfurt, but just couldn't break the ice. They had a goal harshly ruled out midway through the first-half. Frankfurt defender Alexander Madlung (left) scored an own goal in the dying minutes to hand the hosts a 1-0 victory, in the end.
Hunter puts Schalke past Augsburg
Where would Schalke be without Klaas-Jan Huntelaar? Perhaps , a lot further down the table. On Friday evening, the Dutch forward was at it again, popping in the lone goal that secured the Royal Blues a 1-0 win over Augsburg.
Gladbach still unbeaten
Patrick Herrmann and Andre Hahn broke through Hoffenheim's sturdy rearguard to secure the three points. Gladbach strolled out 3-1 winners, staying just behind Bayern at the top of the league. The Foals remain unbeaten after ten games, matching a team record from 1970/71.
Freiburg end frustration against Cologne
Freiburg's 1-0 win in Cologne was nothing to get overly excited about - except if you were a Freiburg fan. The Southern Germans came into the game as the only team in the Bundesliga without a victory in the 2014-15 season. Vladmir Darida's penalty put an end to that unfortunate streak.
Paderborn continue to scale new heights
Paderborn 07 are by far and away the Bundesliga's smallest club, but they don't seem to realize that. On Sunday, the tiny club everyone predicted would head immediately back down to division two claimed another big scalp, beating Hertha Berlin 3-1. Paderborn are now seventh in the table. That's not a typo.
