Bayern do the business
Bayern Munich celebrate their 3-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at the Allianz Arena. Robert Lewandowski notched another two goals to take him to 21 Bundesliga goals for the season, and 100 in a Bayern shirt. Carlo Ancelotti's side are now ten points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
Blast in Berlin
Marvin Plattenhardt scores the winning goal in an eventful and somewhat bad-tempered game between Hertha Berlin and Borussia Dortmund at the Olympic Stadium. Plattenhardt's winner was an absolute thunderbolt of a free-kick, with the ball rifling over the Dortmund wall and beyond Roman Bürki.
No pain, no gain
Leipzig's Timo Werner takes a knee to the face from Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels on an afternoon to forget for the high-flying Bundesliga newcomers. Werner couldn't find the net as veteran striker Mario Gomez scored the only goal of the game for Wolfsburg, to ease their relegation fears.
Darmstadt delight
Darmstadt are not going down without a fight. A battling 2-1 win over Mainz came courtesy of goals from captain Aytac Sulu and Sidney Sam, who scored his second goal of the season - once again from the penalty spot. Darmstadt have experienced an upturn in results under Torsten Frings but remain eight points off 16th.
Kramaric curler
Andrej Kramaric celebrates his absolute beauty that gave Hoffenheim a 1-1 draw at Freiburg. Hoffenheim have gone off the boil in recent weeks and were staring defeat in the face after going a goal down at Freiburg, but Kramaric pulled a rabbit out of the hat with a sensational strike from outside the box.
Share of the spoils
Cologne's players are deflated as Ingolstadt celebrate drawing level in an entertaining 2-2 draw at Audi-Sportpark. Ingolstadt were twice behind to Anthony Modeste goals but each time fought back to earn a valuable point in their fight for survival. Maik Walpurgis' side are four points behind 16th-placed Hamburg.
Wood you believe it?
Bobby Wood was the hero as Hamburg edged out Borussia Mönchengladbach in an absorbing clash on Sunday evening. Wood had had a goal disallowed earlier in the game, but there was no doubt about his winner, for which he showed great composure before slamming it into the roof of the net. Hamburg are now level on points with Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg.
Goals in Gelsenkirchen
Guido Burgstaller scored twice as Schalke picked up a vital 3-0 win over Augsburg. Schalke went into the game uncomfortably close to the relegation zone, but these three points should allay any fears of getting dragged into a relegation dogfight. Schalke have their first win in seven games.
Penalty pain in Leverkusen
Ömer Toprak steps up to take a 96th minute penalty to win the game for Leverkusen against Werder Bremen - but misses! The defender's penalty was straight at Felix Wiedwald, who made the save and then celebrated wildly with his teammates as the final whistle blew moments later. The result denied new Leverkusen coach Tayfun Korkut victory in cruel circumstances.
