Oscar Pistorius has taken the stand for the first time at his trial in South Africa. The paralympic star began his tearful testimony by apologizing to the family of Reeva Steenkamp for firing the shots that killed her. The athlete maintains he shot her by mistake, believing she was an intruder. He said he's still traumatized by the event and has difficulties sleeping.
