A blurry shape in the Baltic spotted by residents on an archipelago just south of Stockholm was thought to be a Russian submarine, perhaps in distress. The Swedish armed forces leapt into action and started searching, although it has now been called off, could the events of the last week be a sign the Cold War never really ended?
