A disputed history

Friday April 24th marks a hundred years since the start of the mass killing of Armenians in Ottoman Turkey. Up to a million and a half Armenians are believed to have been murdered in a campaign their kin say was aimed at eradicating them. The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his government have condemned the European Parliament's vote to recognize the killings of Armenians as genocide.
