Ira Atari, alias Ira Anika Göbel, grew up in Kassel, Germany, where she learned to play the piano and sang in various local bands. All the while, she continued experimenting with electronic sounds. Her musical vision took form: to fuse energetic electro-pop with a girlish voice. Together with musician Rampue, she released several singles and the album "Just Fu**in Dance It" in 2009. The duo split, but Ira Atari carried on. She moved to Berlin, earned a living as a piano teacher and continued working hard on her music. In 2011, she was ready. Her first solo album "Shift" became a hit. PopXport meets the musician at a gig in the German capital and observes the production of her second album.
